Kill Me If You Can James Patterson Marshall Karp Jeff Woodman Jason Culp Books

Lately, a lot of Patterson's books that are co-authored do not measure up to those earlier books that Patterson wrote. However, "Kill me if you can" might even be better than his earlier works. Readers are introduced to the world of assassins and the Russian Mob who deal in diamonds. One of them was skimming off the top and was trying to leave the country and begin a new life. Only he is found out by the boss and a contract issued to the "Ghost" who is considered the world's top killer. The Ghost was at the train station and saw the bag of diamonds...how did he lose them to a young up and coming artist?

This artist meets a girl who turns out to be his professor at a prestigious university in New York. They begin a secret relationship - hidden from the other students. At the end of the semester, the artist whisked his girfriend to Paris for an "artsy" lavished vacation. The mob boss hedges his bets and hires another assassin to kill the artist, retrieve the diamonds and then also kill the Ghost for a bonus. The chase begins through Europe with the young couple only a few moments ahead of the two killers. He has $12mm in diamonds and needs to find a buyer before returning to the US.

There is an earth-shattering discovery about halfway through the story and the storyline makes an abrupt left turn. The action is non-stop and full of surprises. Highly recommend this story as it is one of the best of Patterson's library. Don't miss out on this one.

Kill Me If You Can James Patterson Marshall Karp Jeff Woodman Jason Culp Books Reviews

Excellent read, as always with James Patterson. Of all the James Patterson booked I have read I am sure there has only been one that I didn't care for. Excellent author
It appears the reason prople are trashing the book is because a behind the scenes bad guy is in an incestual relationship with his daughter. While Taboo and wrong its a fictional book for goodness sakes and and if these tee toddleing, judgmental perfect people would realize its a story and a pretty exciting one at that who cares if a certain character is involved in a incestual relationship rather than abusing, mauling, torturing, maiming or killing some character in an awful manner. Give me a break. Its a good reaad, enjoy it!
I'm not all that impressed with this one, especially in the beginning. It gets better though and then sort of fizzles out again. I like his old books better, before adding the also-rans. Maybe the well is tapped out? I don't know - but I used to keep all of his books to re-read and now sometimes I not only don't save them for later, I sometimes don't even finish them...
About halfway through, Patterson and Karp drop a bombshell that will have you reading (or at least skimming) what has gone before once or twice. You will be shell-shocked for at least the next hundred pages, but it changes the entire mood of the novel and sets up at least the possibility of a continuing series. This fabulous thriller is full of action and occasional humor, and just enough sex to make the heat rise when the book is closed. Give KILL ME IF YOU CAN a chance. You will not be sorry
Just enough suspense to make it exciting but not a lot of gore. Loved the surprises.
A diamond book if there ever was one. Patterson comes thru again w/all the ups/downs/twists and turns that one has come to expect. The person reading this book provides the perfect image of the main character. My rating missed 5 stars for the same reason as most it failed to include a female reader for the other main, female character in the book. The book would have improved by 100% had the production included a female reader. But then, the almighty dollar trumps exceptional quality yet one more time.............
The novel Kill Me If You Can by James Patterson is my viewpoint is an actual good novel. Spoilers That is if you focus on the main aspect of the novel that being man kills bad guy who has millions of dollars of dimonds with him. The killer of the man takes the dimonds and figures out a way to made money off the sale of the dimonds while trying not to die from the other bad guys hunting him down. This Patterson novel had two subplots and so many people tend to focus on the bad aspects of Patterson's writing skills or path of the novels he writes. Yes the novels he writes can have some very ugly material inside the novels as seen in this book. But if you read his novels for the reason like I do for the action scenes and main plotline not subplots then you will enjoy this novel as much as I did and don't focus on the two subplots.
